Holiday Love

Hope you all had a happy Christmas!~

Last weekend I went to a Christmas party (a bad holiday sweater party) with great friends as well as members of Kurenai, Phoenix Ash, akai SKY, and The Shogunate in attendance.

But I almost didn't make it to the party!  When I told my friends that, they sent me this photo via text:

I felt bad so I decided to go after all, and when I told them that, they sent me this:

I can't believe it's going to be 2014 in less than two weeks... o_o;;  But that means the "Set Me Free" single release date is just around the corner. (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

The holidays are so nice~ but all the food and lack of exercise is making me really fat.  I need to go back to not eating crap food and working out again....  Or playing shows!  I always burn 1,000,000 calories per show and become a sweat fountain.


 

Oh yeah, I've been spending a lot of time inside my new vocal booth lately!  My dad and I built it in the corner of my bedroom.  It gets really warm in there, especially when I'm recording difficult songs, BUT OMG IT SOUNDS GOOD.  It's also really nice because I can sing/record in there at really late hours and not disturb my family~ o(≧∇≦o)

My microphone of choice is an Audio Technica AT4040, if you were curious. ^u^

It's a 3 x 3 x 8 foot space covered with 1 to 2 layers of sound absorbing sheets per wall.  It's really peaceful in there, actually.  My friend Sean (singer of Phoenix Ash) has a vocal booth and told me he sometimes sits in there to feel relaxed.  Except...  His booth is only 2 x 2 feet and I am actually slightly claustrophobic. XD  I've gotten used to my little 3 x 3 space.

Also, I got this new locket watch recently!  I really really like steampunk things.  Maybe I'll wear it onstage one of these days, or for the next VK photoshoot~

Welp, I'm gonna try to go for a run tomorrow morning...  It'll be a problem if I don't fit into my stage clothes anymore LOL >o<

Aw yes, we have a blog now. ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ

We'll be writing random things here from time to time~ Sometimes it'll be music-related and sometimes it won't.  We'll just have to wait and see what kind of stuff we'll end up blogging about, I guess!
